I am looking for info on Daniel MILLER, he was Clerk of the Court of Christian county, and studied law during Iris term of offic. He is said to have been a good lawyer and quite popular; died in Taylorville; He was was a brother of E. A. MILLER, Martin MILLER. He was born in Kentucky, in 1818, and at the age of five years came with his father's family to this county, settling in South Fork township in 1823. Under the nom de plume of "East Sangamon" he wrote and published in the Springfield Republican several able articles advocating the division of Sangamon county. Soon after the formation of Taylorville, he made it his residence. He was a candidate for county clerk in 1840, and was defeated by only a few votes; was elected county school commissioner August 4th, 1845, without opposition. At one time he was a deputy sheriff'. He was admitted to the bar in this county, and as a practicing attorney received a liberal share of the cases in court. In August, 1847, he was elected county clerk for a term of four years, but died

I need any information on James W. BARDING that was on the 1860 census in Christian County but died shortly after. Family history says he died in some form of accident? I need how he died and where and where he is buried. He left a wife, Anna, and a son John Adam BARDING and 3 step-children, Susan, Richard and Sarah GRIMES. EBERSPACHER posted by Linda Sullivan on Monday, October 27, 2003

I am looking for any information on George T. EBERSPACHER who lived in Pana, IL. I don't know how long he lived there but I do know for sure that he was there in 1922 and 1923 and I am sure a lot longer before and after. He was married for a short while to Margaret Goodearle Rummell. I read in the Decauter Review that he was planning an annulment of his marriage to Margaret. They had a son Robert M. EBERSPACHER. If anyone knows these people I would appreciate hearing from you. George EBERSPACHER is my grandfather and Robert EBERSPACHER is my father.
I am looking for pictures of George T. EBERSPACHER and or Robert EBERSPACHER as a child. George's house is on the same road as the cemetery that has EBERSPACHER'S in it. It is still standing, somewhat. It has those greenish shingles as siding? Dad went to a school that was sort of across the field from the cemetery. I would also like to have a picture of that if anyone has one.
