MILLER, Daniel, he was an attorney who had his office in the same building as Abraham Lincoln. Daniel had known siblings Martin and Jane.
When Daniel Miller died Abe Lincoln came to Taylorville in a buckboard to help settle the estate.
I am looking for any information about Daniel, Martin or Jane.

I'm searching for any info on Harriet COOK married to Benedict DARMER. Some of their children were Bennett H DARMER m. Julia SANDERS, Mary Jane m Benjamin Wesley ROSE, William m. Martha ROSE, Alexander m Sarah JONES, Sarah Ellen m. Eli WIDICK. I am particularly looking for Harriet & Benedict, and Sarah & Eli, as they are my 3g and 2g grandparents. However, any info on any of the DARMER and WIDICK families is welcome, and anything I have found so far, I am willing to share. I have some of them living in Christian county around the Mt. Auburn area in the 1870's. The Widicks were in Macon county.

Seeking information on the Joseph MERRITT family and his wife Harriett WALKER MERRITT who lived in Taylorville from 1900 to 1911. They had two children Joseph MERRITT Jr. who married Francis CONNER MERRITT and Albert MERRITT. The family lived in Taylorville until 1935.

Seeking information on the following members of the Samuel Harver TOLLE family all known to have been living in Christian County, Illinois in 1920. Samuel Harvey Tolle, his sons, Robert L. TOLLE, James F. TOLLE, Alvise TOLLE, and Alonzo P. TOLLE. Alvise TOLLE had a wife named Delia and a grandson named Alvise FAUTERHAUGLE who was age 4 in the 1920 census in Christian County.

I'm looking for information on my great great grandmother, Jennie B. SHARP of Mount Auburn. Don't know her parents names but on Dec 8 1867 she married William (Billy) CLINK of Springfield. They lived in Mount Auburn until about 1873 and had three sons; Charles, b. 1869; Frank, b. 1871; and my ggrandfather, Eugene (Oscar), b. 1873. On his army pension application filed in 1908 William Clink said he and Jennie Sharp were divorced, although he did not list a year. When William moved to Hutchinson, Reno County, Kansas in 1873 I don't know if Jennie and the boys went with him or stayed in Mount Auburn.

I am looking for information on grandparents Karl PETRIC married to Valentina NOVAK. They had a child in 1917 in Christian County, Anna. They both died in the 1919 influenza epidemic. I have traced Karl back to ellis island, but can find no information on Valentina, and their daughter was only 2 years old so she has no information her mother.

Joseph LUNDAK & his wife Rose KLOEVER. They are my dad's, E. Ray SIEVERS Jr., grandparents. They were probably in Pana, IL. for sure around 1910. Joseph and Rose LUNDAK had two children. I am trying to find out ancestors and descendants of my great- grandparents, John CANFIELD and Lois R MOLER. John CANFIELD married Lois Rebecca (MOLER) TAYLOR on 30 Dec 1889 in Taylorville. 2nd marriage for both. They had a son named Joseph Edgar CANFIELD (my maternal grandfather) born 9 Mar 1891 in Taylorville.) John was the son of Elisha CANFIELD and Sarah GRIGGS (spelling?). He was born abt 1860 somewhere in Illinois. John had previously been married to an unknown woman, and then later took a third wife Sarah HENDRICKS (m. 30 Sep 1894, Taylorville.) Lois was the daughter of Martin MOLER and Elvira STEEL. She was born abt 1871 in Jefferson Co., Indiana. Lois had previously been married to a man named Tracy TAYLOR (m. 11 May 1888 in Taylorville.) They had a son named Luther TAYLOR. She later took a third husband, surnamed PURDUE, by whom she had a son named Glen PURDUE.

Born in Giles Co., VA in 1807, They moved from Giles Co., VA to CLark Co., KY in the mid 1840s then on to IL, Found in McClennan, TX in 1870 wife Sarah WEBB died in Coffeyville, KS in 1877 he died in Allen, Co. KS in 1888.
