Please can anyone help me???? My gr.gr. grandmother Rebecca Pitchford WILLIAMS is buried on the old Heflin farm, 5 miles East of Taylorsville. Recently we visited there and found the Heflin farm which now belongs to Carlsons. Nobody knew where her grave site was so we cme back home to Utah. Two of her grand children are also buried by her. Her husband was Zebediah D. WILLIAMS and he is buried in Montgomery Co. on the Buris farm. His name however is on her stone. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Billie Heseltine Sandy, Utah

John W. CASHEN (1867) married Elizabeth CURTIN married in Christian Co. 11/17/1895. Mary CASHEN (1868 - 1871) born and died in Christian Co. Margaret Ann CASHEN aka Maggie Cashin(1871) married John BUTLER in Christian Co., 8/9/1895. Aloysuis CASHEN (1887) married Julia CURRAN in Raymond -- I believe Christian Co., on 10/4/1911. Catherine Agnes CASHEN (1887) married Hugo Leo KELLER on 6/3/1909 on Morrisonville, Christian Co. I believe other relatives where also in Christian Co. as my grandfather, Thomas Vincent CASHEN, built his home on a farm in Morrisonville.

Does anyone have any information on Buckeye. My grandmother, Myra Ethel WILHOUR, was raised in that area. Her parents were John Wesley WILHOUR and Harriet Melissa DOSER WILHOUR. They moved to the area in 1891 from Olney, IL. We have a picture of the Buckeye School dated November 20, 1903. 24 children are in the picture with 3 adults, one of them being John Wesley Wilhour, I am assuming he was a caretaker. Any information would be appreciated. If anyone would have a relative that would have attended that school, I would be glad to make a copy of the photo.

I am looking for information about the family of my great-grandmother, Fanny Manila PEYTON. She was married to William Henry MCELROY. Their daughter, my grandmother, Florence Elizabeth MCELROY, was born December 11, 1894, in Pana, IL. Fanny and William also had a son, Frank C. MCELROY, and may have had other children. Florence, called "Fritzie," died in San Francisco in the early 1960s.

MORRISON: I am looking for information on the children of James Canty MORRISON, born 21 Nov 1813 in probably Sumner Co., Tennessee. James probably came to Taylorsville about 1854. The family was originally from what is today Iredell Co., North Carolina after migrating there from Pennsylvania. This MORRISON family left Scotland in 1700 to live in N. Ireland and came to Chester, PA by 1732. I am particularly interested in the two daughters named Margaret. My great-great grandfather (Henry) Alfred THOMAS was reportedly married to a Margaret MORRISON born circa 1837 in the Carolinas. I'm looking for info on Anna Elizabeth FRAMPTON. She was the wife of Harry Henry CRAWFORD, married in Macon County 8/25/1893. She died in Decatur on 9/29/1905, and was returned to be buried in Taylorville on 10/1/1905. She had one daughter, Verna Velma Crawford, born in Decatur on 6/8/1894. It is assumed that she had family in Taylorville at the time of her death. Her parents are unknown.
