GOODRICH - RYAN: Seeking information for William A. Goodrich, who mareried a Martha A. Ryan, Christian Co., 17 Jun 1955. This was probably his 2nd marriage. In the 1860 census he is listed as having been born in Mass, age 42; she was born in Ohio, age 28. Trying to connect Martha to Sarah A. Ryan Cox WILKINSON (WILKERSON) - William A. Goodrich acted as a public administrator for Sarah Wilkinson's estate.

Researching the following family -- Washington HOOTEN, born Iuka, Illinois 1854, married Elizabeth B. WOOD and had the following children -- Nelson G. HOOTEN, born 10 Jun 1877 and Grover C. HOOTEN. Washington's brother, Hiram HOOTEN, was also born at Iuka, Illinois 1860, married Lea Allaman and had two daughters -- Lena May Hooten and Daisy L. Hooten. Hiram and Washington both lived in Assumption, Illinois. Searching for descendants of these folks. I am related through their mother, Martha E. Foster, who married William HOOTEN in 1850.

I am trying to locate any connections on my paternal side. My gggranfather was George W. EDWARDS who died in Palmer in 1924. Apparantly he ran a pool room there for the last 4 years of his life. He was also an Odd Fellow and Modern Woodman. His wife was Mary Alice LANHAM who died in 1930. Their obituaries list several children, but unfortunately their names aren't the same in both obits. I am currently living in London so local research is difficult. I will be in Illinois for a couple of days this summer and would appreciate any advice on how to investigate my ancestery.

Looking for info concerning or relatives of Roscoe R. BARGER, who died in Taylorville, Christian Co., IL (year unknown, but he was born in IL in 1884). He was the son of Harvey and Lucy Ann (BUCHANAN) SULLIVAN, who were married in Lincoln, Logan Co., IL on Aug. 30, 1883. Lucy was the sister of my grt-grandmother, Emma Esten Sullivan, who married Charles Franklin BUCHANAN in Logan Co., IL on Dec. 3, 1896. I have a copy of a letter dated (if memory serves) abt. 1930 from Roscoe BARGER to Emma (SULLIVAN) BUCHANAN, inquiring as to the genealogy of Mr. Buchanan's family.
